I was born into a family that was filled with song and dance of all kinds. You guessed it, my mother was a dance teacher and she was one of my greatest inspirations from the early days of my life. I am not saying that we were entertainers, but I was raised around people who loved music. I started playing and singing at age seven and remember rising up early before school to play and sing while sitting on the swing in the backyard. From that moment on I was hooked and music became a big part of my life and destiny. Now more than five decades later I am still writing songs, playing, singing, and performing my own music, and I still love good music of all kinds. What began as a desire to learn to play and sing has now become the life that I am loving to live at age 69, and while it has been a journey that has been fraught with many challenges I would not change one thing about the life I have enjoyed in the song.
